Car Health Checks - Falkirk

A health check won’t fix anything on its own, but it will tell you exactly where your vehicle stands. Catching a worn brake pad, a leaking seal, or a tyre approaching its limit before it becomes an urgent problem is always better than dealing with the consequences later.

At Ian Grieve Service Centre, we carry out thorough vehicle health checks as a standalone service and as part of every service we carry out. Our technicians work through the vehicle systematically, checking the components that matter most and flagging anything that needs attention – now or in the near future.

What we check

• Brakes – pads, discs, fluid, and calipers
• Tyres – tread depth, condition, and pressure
• Lights – all external lighting and indicators
• Steering and suspension components
• Fluid levels – oil, coolant, brake fluid, and screenwash
• Battery condition and charging system
• Exhaust system integrity
• Wiper blades and washer jets

Clear, honest reporting

After the check, we’ll walk you through anything we’ve found – what needs doing now, what can be monitored, and what’s in good shape. No pressure, no unnecessary recommendations, and no work carried out without your approval. We work across all the main makes and models, including EVs and hybrids.
